Terminator Run for Youth Addiction Awareness
The Terminator Run for Youth Addiction Awareness is an annual 5km run/walk with an intended purpose of raising awareness surrounding youth drug & alcohol abuse and to terminate the stigma associated with the disease of addiction.
Addiction and drug & alcohol abuse is steadily inclining. The numbers do not lie. Sadly, there continues to be a consistent increase in Fentanyl overdoses and deaths. The numbers continue to rise with out end or solution in sight. It’s understandable why this has left many people and our community feeling at a loss, with more questions than answers.
With education, awareness and compassion we can make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by the disease of addiction.
This run is an opportunity to bring this issue into the light and out of the shadows. No longer should those affected hide in shame, embarrassment and self loathing; believing there is no hope.
There IS Hope.
Hope for the youth struggling with addiction and hope for the family.
You are a part of that Hope.
